About Us

In 1995, a consortium of gaming executives in senior management roles at international gaming firms operating in Egypt came together to establish a company named Overseas United Management. This organization was created with the primary objective of offering turn-key casino solutions to investors interested in launching casinos in Egypt and the broader Middle East region. Over the subsequent three years, two casinos owned by The MG Group were inaugurated: the first being the Casino on the “Golden Sea” cruise ship, and the second located at the Pyramisa Hotel in Giza.

This same collective of seasoned gaming professionals, who have been active in the industry since 1975 and possess a cumulative experience of 50 years, began their careers at the Nile Hilton Hotel casino with Euro Casino International. They have since ascended to prominent positions within various international gaming establishments, including the Marriott, Ramses Hilton, Four Seasons, and Gezira Sheraton. Recently, they have decided to advance their ambitions by not only establishing casinos for other entities but also by owning and operating their own casino ventures.

In 2009, we acquired a company known as “Egyptian Lebanese Casinos,” which operated the casino located at the Sofitel Tower & Casino in Maadi, Cairo (currently the Holiday Inn).

Subsequently, in 2013, we entered a concession agreement with “Taba Tourism Development Co.” to manage their casino at the Taba Hilton in Taba, Sinai, following the unsuccessful attempts of several other companies to generate profit from that site.

We have achieved remarkable success at both locations, leading us to extend our contract from the original five years to a new term of ten years. Furthermore, we are currently in the process of finalizing a new agreement to operate the Movenpick Taba Casino, which is owned by the same company.

In 2018, we entered into a decade-long agreement with “Concorde El Salam Hotel” to develop and manage their casino located in Heliopolis, Cairo.

Subsequently, in 2021, we expanded our portfolio by incorporating “Casino Royal” in Sharm el Sheikh. It is important to highlight that our elite team is supported by nearly 50 years of expertise in the operational aspects of the gaming industry, collaborating with multinational gaming firms both in Egypt and internationally.

The Concorde El Salam Casino and the Vegas Casino in Amwaj Village are the two new casinos that are at present being built in Sharm El Sheikh.

Our distinction amongst other companies in the region is not solely attributed to our experience.
